Our Medical Infrastructure

Akal Charitable Hospital surprisingly caters to the medical needs of patients covering an area of a radius of 100 Km. This includes Nohradhar, Sangraha, Habban, Rajgarh, Haripurdhar, Chopal, Renuka, Kupvi as well as Jubbal and Kotkhai.

Our Medical Infrastructure

A 280-bed Charitable Hospital at Baru Sahib in Himachal Pradesh, where free of cost healthcare facilities are provided to underprivileged rural and hilly people, virtually at their doorsteps.

In addition to the free medical checkups and treatments, dental care, surgical procedures and post-operative medical care, all patients and their accompanying family members receive free accommodations and meals, regardless of religious faith or social status.

The hospital also organizes medical camps four times a year, where in specialists from USA and several states of India volunteer their services.

The patients and their attendants travel to Akal Charitable Hospital by bus, horse or on foot, undertaking quite long and arduous journey on difficult terrains to get rid of deadly diseases completely free of cost, the treatments that would normally cost up to Rs. 1 Lakh in cities.

In addition to the free medical checkups and treatments, dental care, surgical procedures and post-operative medical care, all patients and their accompanying family members receive free accommodations and meals, regardless of caste, creed, color, religion and social status.

Surgery like Hernia, hysterectomy, Myringoplasty, Cleft lip and cleft palate, skin grafting, contractures following burns, all kinds of general surgeries and orthopedic surgeries are done free of cost in these camps. Some of these operations would cost more than Rs. 100,000/- if they were performed in any private hospital in a city.
